Nadine is a solicitor with L&M Medilaw, by Levy & McRae in Glasgow, working with Elizabeth Rose in medical negligence. She is more notably known as the pursuer in the landmark Supreme Court Judgment, Montgomery v Lanarkshire Health Board.
Nadine has a Law degree and a Diploma in Professional Legal Practise from the University of Strathclyde. She also has a BSc in Molecular Biology from the University of Glasgow. She continues as class tutor in Delict for the undergraduate law students teaching all aspects of negligence.
Birthrights, a human rights in childbirth charity, announced Nadine as their first ever patron in 2019. As a public ambassador she continues to champion women’s autonomy and consent in childbirth, supporting their communications and campaigns and training for healthcare professionals.
Nadine was further honoured to become an ambassador for the unique charity Baby Lifeline in 2020 and has joined forces with their team to improve safety in ,maternity care.
Nadine’s passion for the law extends to her subcommittee membership of the Law Society of Scotland in Health and medical Law where she can now become involved in contributing towards the development of policy and legislation to the benefit of both the profession and the public.
